The Next App

The Next App is a software agency located in Rotterdam, established in 2016 by Berry Goudswaard, a developer with over two decades of practical experience. We focus on creating custom mobile and web applications, all developed in-house by our dedicated team—no outsourcing or freelancers involved. Our main technologies include Flutter for cross-platform iOS and Android apps (using a single codebase), NestJS for backend APIs, and Angular for web frontends. After transitioning to Flutter in 2018, we have successfully launched over 65 production apps and web solutions for clients like Gemeente Rotterdam, KNVB, and Quooker. Each project has Berry as the sole point of contact, eliminating intermediaries such as account managers and ensuring direct communication for seamless collaboration from the project’s initiation to its launch. We partner with Dutch SMEs and larger organizations that require software specifically designed for their needs, rather than generic solutions that require workarounds. Many of our client collaborations last for several years and encompass multiple projects.
