Problem: Upon starting the project, we encountered multiple minor and significant issues, including various bottlenecks and security concerns. Solution: Our team took the initiative to collaborate closely with the client's team to provide an optimal delivery solution. Currently, over 80% of the code has been tested and refactored. Numerous new third-party integrations and features have also been added. The app is now well-equipped to handle high volumes of traffic and deliver excellent service to its users.

**Overview** Hanover is a digital platform facilitating cultural exchange programs globally. Specifically designed to address the unique difficulties of international exchanges, Hanover streamlines and automates the process, making it as straightforward as possible. It has emerged as the primary CRM for managing applications, hosts, businesses, and partners across various program types, and is utilized in over 16 countries. **Challenge** The Hanover CRM comprises multiple enterprise-level applications and one SaaS solution. The project is quite dated, with most applications relying on legacy code. Although based on a unified codebase, it has been extensively modified to cater to each client's specific requests. The high volume of requests for new features has necessitated prompt responses to client needs and timelines. While the core team consists of skilled engineers, even they have limitations. **Solution** Throughout our collaboration, significant changes have been made to the codebases. Currently, all projects operate on the most recent stable versions of Ruby and Rails. A considerable amount of legacy code has been refactored, cleaned up, and eliminated. Our combined efforts are now effectively addressing clients' requests for application enhancements.

The initial concern was with the vendor template outputs. Subsequently, we realized the need for someone to manage the codebase as well. **Solution:** We began by addressing the templates. Our designer effectively managed this, allowing each new vendor to create truly unique stores for themselves using the store builder. Additionally, our engineer focused on enhancing performance and adding new features. Through code refactoring, we were also able to boost the overall performance of the application.
