About the Team
OUR STORY
Founded in 2009 by school friends Matthew Butt and Matt Seaton, Netwise began as a passion project hosting game servers from a modest setup in a loft using repurposed IBM servers. Over 15 years, it has evolved into one of the UK's foremost colocation service providers, operating entirely private data centers designed and built in-house. The journey included establishing the first bespoke London South data center in 2011, followed by the expansive London Central in 2016, and the state-of-the-art London East facility begun in 2020 with ongoing expansions. Known for cutting-edge, energy-efficient designs, Netwise has cultivated a solid enterprise customer base, earning industry accolades while fostering a passionate team dedicated to delivering global end-user content from its UK hubs.
