OUR STORY
Founded in 2019 by Pegah Yazd, Julia Joyce-Barry, and Rula Al-Nasrawi—three creatives from diverse cultural backgrounds with experience at notable companies like Google and Hearst Digital—NASTY/CREATIVE is dedicated to uplifting brands, particularly those led by women, people of color, and LGBTQ individuals. The founders first collaborated on the Nasty Woman Project, a New York-based initiative supporting social justice causes through events and workshops, raising funds for organizations such as Planned Parenthood and The Anti-Violence Project. Embracing the intersection of boldness and creativity, NASTY/CREATIVE aims to challenge conventional brand engagement and inspire meaningful change by helping clients tap into their unique, audacious spirit.
