MyRouteOnline began as a family venture rooted in Dr. Baruch Axelrod's passion for travel and expertise in computer science. Inspired by the Travelling Salesman Problem during his PhD, Baruch developed an innovative algorithm to optimize delivery routes, which led to founding the company. Early challenges included manual software installations and physical route planning, remembered fondly by his daughter Inbal, who later experienced firsthand the difficulties of planning efficient routes while delivering flowers. This inspired the creation of MyRouteOnline in 2009, an accessible and affordable online system designed for businesses of all sizes to simplify and streamline route planning.
