The objective was to create a distinctive platform aimed at assisting the nonprofit sector in tackling current challenges by utilizing public records from government entities alongside advanced technologies in big data and machine learning. To cope with the needs of swift growth and the handling of substantial data volumes, we chose to implement AWS Cloud. We employed the Python ecosystem, along with Cypher and the Neo4j graph database, to enhance our data analytics and backend functionalities. Our skilled designers and frontend developers crafted an adaptable, dynamic, and user-friendly interface using the React framework.

Developing a contextual advertising platform

Creating and maintaining a contextual advertising platform through the use of microservices and big data technologies. Overview: The main goal was to develop a high-quality platform that fulfills the client's requirements by leveraging microservices, big data technologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methods. Problem: The main challenge was to design and sustain a contextual advertising platform capable of managing large amounts of data, providing real-time analytics to the client, and enhancing performance and scalability. The team needed to ensure that all microservices were interconnected via Docker and Kubernetes, which demanded considerable effort and expertise. Solution: Utilizing Java, we assisted in the development and maintenance of the microservices that constitute the platform. We implemented Docker and Kubernetes for seamless integration of these microservices, facilitating effective communication among them. Our skilled frontend developers created a flexible, dynamic, and user-friendly interface using JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript. The team also prioritized the design and management of extensive SQL databases, fine-tuning them for optimal performance and scalability. To enable real-time analytics for the client, we established pre-bid and post-bid data pipelines that facilitate the immediate capture and processing of data. This empowerment allowed the client to make informed decisions driven by platform insights. The team oversaw the CI/CD process using GitLab and Jenkins, guaranteeing that all modifications were promptly tested and deployed, thus maintaining the platform’s quality and ensuring it met the client's expectations.
