To achieve new objectives, Volkswagen Financial Services enlisted our assistance in designing an appropriate solution for a complex platform that offers an efficient (both in quality and budget) means of skill enhancement for sales network personnel and internal employees. The scope of work includes #UX/UI design, #PWA development, #cross-platform app development, and #video/animation production. What was the challenge? VWFS operates as a financial institution, which subjects it to oversight from state regulators. It is essential to monitor and report the competencies of internal staff and client service representatives selling financial and insurance products in a specific manner. With the launch of this platform, VWFS now has a single tool to aggregate all user-related information. The platform allows for custom reporting, enabling the collection of all user activities—such as learning histories, completed training sessions, tests, and surveys—which are accessible from each user’s profile. Managing career progression and aligning knowledge content with individual user roles is crucial. Today, this platform stands out as one of the few strategic tools within the VWFS organization. It is continuously updated to fulfill the needs of users and the business. Over the past eight years, it has undergone multiple updates regarding functionality, design, content delivery, reporting, and overall structure. When we seek to perform a simple service, the identity of the market leader is not our concern. We prioritize finding nearby cooperation at the lowest possible cost. This principle applies to the shipping industry as well; when we want to send a parcel, our primary goal is to do so quickly, with a door-to-door service, and at the best price. This is the essence of the Furgonetka app! The app's primary functions include: - Consulting on information architecture - UI/UX design - PWA development A key benefit of the app is that it simplifies and accelerates communication between senders and carriers. In just a few steps, a sender can add their parcel by providing essential details such as its category, weight, dimensions, destination address, photos, and the price they are willing to pay for delivery. Carriers have a few options: accept the offered price, decline, or propose a higher or lower price for the service. All interactions occur within the order card, allowing both senders and carriers to actively participate in an auction format. After a carrier is chosen, they can continue discussions through a private channel. Now, what advantages does this offer to carriers? The app enables them to easily find suitable opportunities without much effort. To enhance their chances, carriers just need to keep “Your routes” updated by inputting frequently traveled routes, start and end points, intersections, and regularity (e.g., daily, every Monday, etc.) and wait for suitable requests. When a carrier receives an order, they can quickly accept it, decline it, or submit a counteroffer. Once the service is completed, both parties can rate each other. #react.js #PWA
