Applying cutting-edge tech to an iconic brand

Sesame Workshop currently engages with children in more than 150 countries globally. To enhance their outreach to more children, parents, and educators in rural regions, Sesame approached Modus to develop a new international technology framework for web and mobile apps. The objective was to provide award-winning children's content and a structured curriculum on a single, user-friendly platform optimized for areas with limited internet bandwidth. Our approach began with a robust technological foundation, which allowed us to improve the user experience for three audiences—children, caregivers, and educators—by designing, developing, and launching easy-to-use web, responsive mobile, and native applications for iOS and Android. This resulted in a single, adaptable framework that can be deployed in any language and country while supporting fully localized content. By utilizing Amazon’s latest solutions, we can quickly set up instances in any region worldwide. The centralized deployment and management system enables Modus and Sesame’s DevOps teams to collaborate effectively, ensuring high-availability sites with minimal maintenance. Additionally, it empowers content creators and producers to implement updates and changes in real-time across all platforms, 24/7, throughout the year.

Synchronizing customer IDs online, offline and in-store

Unknown

Every day, customers access websites and apps and visit stores, which may seem routine. However, retailers have faced challenges for decades in recognizing and connecting customers as they switch between various channels. This has led to multiple profiles for the same individuals and, even more concerning, a fragmented shopping experience. In the realm of financial services, such inconsistencies are unacceptable. Payomatic, a FinTech retailer with a range of digital products, private-label debit cards, and over 150 locations in New York, had to deal with thousands of customers possessing varied profiles and preferences across its apps, websites, and stores. Modus addressed this issue by consolidating and mapping all customer profiles, ensuring a uniform experience regardless of how customers interacted with Payomatic. This integration allowed for smooth preferences and personalization both online and in-store, simplifying the customer journey while enabling Payomatic to effectively target customers with appropriate financial product messages at the right moments. Additionally, the system designed and maintained by Modus adheres to New York's stringent security and privacy regulations, regarded as some of the toughest worldwide.

Helping military families relocate with algorithmic matching

USAA

Due to the frequent relocations of military families, USAA collaborated with another Modus client, Realogy, to develop a tailored lead generation tool. This consumer-oriented application connects USAA members with ideal real estate agents for buying and selling homes. Using a mobile-first design approach, Modus created both a native mobile app and a desktop application suite, which have successfully boosted lead volume and conversion rates while minimizing drop-off rates. The tool is visually appealing, user-friendly, and complies with stringent ADA standards. Lead Generation Tool for Affinity Program Native, Mobile & Desktop Applications ADA Compliant.
