Our client is a top-tier provider of IT and financial services within the healthcare sector. Their customizable web platform is extensively used across skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehabilitation centers, and related management companies throughout the United States. The increasing complexity of their systems and business operations revealed significant limitations in the existing AngularJS codebase. Consequently, the management team decided to undertake a complete transformation of the application. The comprehensive web platform, built on a .NET backend with an MVC+AngularJS frontend, required simultaneous development of both components. Given the extensive scope of the project, our team first formulated a detailed plan and strategy. This included addressing the app's modular architecture, maintaining the current AngularJS application to prevent downtime, refactoring legacy code, and rewriting outdated components in Angular. As we initiated the migration process, our primary focus was on upgrading the backend to the latest version of .NET. Afterward, we turned our attention to the AngularJS frontend, which also included a redesign of the app's user interface. Rebuilding the entire application was necessary to retain its functionalities and business value. However, by adopting an incremental migration strategy, we were able to implement updated features gradually without interrupting the production environment. The new system, developed in Angular 11 with active support, has significantly reduced the maintenance workload for management, while the restructuring of 65,000 lines of AngularJS code has enhanced the platform’s performance and optimized resource usage.

Their customizable cloud-based SaaS platform enables thousands of companies to enhance their workplace culture and strengthen employee relationships. After facing issues with system maintenance, performance, and user experience, they chose to engage us for a complete rewrite of the frontend using the latest Angular framework.
