Fair Trade USA is united by a shared mission to eradicate poverty and foster sustainable development for farmers, workers, their families, and communities globally. In 2016, they aimed to form a talented external team to create Salesforce solutions that conformed to their high standards. Modelit’s engagement strategy and established technological expertise provided exactly what they needed. The process began with just one person collaborating with Fair Trade USA's expanding internal technical team to assess their requirements and identify how we could support their success. Our extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform allowed Fair Trade USA to reduce the time it would have taken them to gain similar skills in-house. Additionally, partnering with Modelit was more cost-effective than hiring local tech experts from the Bay Area. Over time, we increased our team size, enhancing Fair Trade USA’s capabilities in a quick and adaptable manner. We managed a significant amount of data and provided effective solutions. By 2020, our dedicated team for Fair Trade USA had grown to 12 members. Throughout the years, Fair Trade USA has retained team members who have built strong relationships with the organization and demonstrated their value. Our contributions have enabled Fair Trade USA to: gain insights on optimal technology use to promote positive impact and progress towards goals, establish automated systems for data collection and analysis to enhance partner interactions, and expand their dedicated team from 1 to 12 members. Salesforce Custom Solutions for Energy Efficiency

The challenge faced by Build It Green's Home Upgrade program was that customers who improved their energy efficiency could receive rebates, but the program was hindered by poor data integration with two outdated systems. This resulted in many customers being uncertain about their missing rebates. The client needed an efficient, cost-effective way to manage and leverage customer data promptly to enhance client satisfaction with their rebate program. The solution involved Modelit assembling a team of three remote engineers and one quality assurance engineer. They eliminated the two outdated systems that were draining resources from Build It Green. By leveraging the Salesforce Platform and Experience Cloud, Modelit developed custom solutions that streamlined customer data transfer. They consolidated the functionalities of the two legacy systems into a single new system within Salesforce. As a result, rebate application processing times improved significantly, enabling more applications to be reviewed and approved. Additionally, the team resolved integration issues while reducing costs by up to 50%. With a dependable team from Modelit, Build It Green experienced a 70% increase in response times for deploying new features without compromising quality. Customers and contractors soon noticed better usability after migrating all systems to Salesforce, leading to a quick boost in overall customer satisfaction. As a result of this process, Build It Green received impactful custom solutions from Modelit, which Franklin Energy continues to use today. The advancements made in the past have helped elevate the Home Upgrade rebate program to one of the most successful of its kind.

The Challenge In 2018, the MoreHands cleaning service team aimed to integrate their business with Salesforce but were hesitant due to disappointing experiences with previous tech partners. Consequently, they found themselves with a largely ineffective system. They required an affordable partner to assess their Salesforce setup, untangle existing issues, and explore new features to enhance their business operations. The Solution Modelit began by evaluating and understanding the existing system. Once we clarified the situation, we engaged in Custom Development to fix errors and enhance the MoreHands platform. We brought in a Salesforce Administrator to gain insights from stakeholders and suggest improvements. With their Salesforce instance fully operational, MoreHands could finally pursue their vision for the platform and develop new features.
