Tyson initially believed that the vendor he hired to manage and develop his e-commerce site was proficient in WooCommerce, but he quickly discovered that they were not. This realization prompted him to seek a long-term website development partner with genuine expertise in e-commerce, WordPress, and Woo. Through an online search, he found Mode Effect, a company that specializes in WooCommerce and e-commerce. “Many companies claim to be e-commerce experts, but few actually are,” Tyson remarked. “After talking with Cody Landefeld [Mode's COO], I felt assured of their expertise in e-commerce and WordPress, which encouraged me to give them a chance.” Tyson expressed that he thought his site's speed was reasonable until he noticed a significant improvement after transitioning to management and hosting with Mode Effect. Over the past three years of collaborating with The Red Headed Hostess, Mode Effect has continuously uncovered opportunities for enhancing the website's performance on both the front and back ends. One backend issue that was causing considerable difficulty and downtime for Tyson was the order search function. Mode Effect succeeded in reducing the order search times from over 60 seconds to just 4 seconds. “At Mode Effect, our developers have a comprehensive understanding of how everything operates within the WordPress and Woo frameworks,” stated Michael Sablone, lead developer at Mode. “To improve the order search times, we needed to delve deeply into WooCommerce, rather than just applying a superficial fix.
