Porsche Cayman: Performance Driving App

Porsche

Metajive collaborated with Porsche to create the central element of a worldwide advertising campaign for the debut of the 2014 Cayman. As part of the Speed Channel’s "King of the Curve," we developed a mobile app that equipped Porsche fans and dealers around the globe with real-world driving performance tools. The task was to reflect the Cayman’s precision, beauty, and performance in a digital format that matched the brand’s standards. Our response featured accurate GPS tracking, instant performance updates, and competitive rankings on a global leaderboard, all available through a complimentary download. The app encapsulates the excitement of performance driving and connects users with the Porsche experience.

Weta Workshop: Global E-Commerce Platform

Weta Workshop

Metajive collaborated with Weta Workshop, the renowned film production and collectibles firm known for works like Lord of the Rings, King Kong, and Tin Tin, to create a global e-commerce platform that caters to fans from four international warehouses and supports five different currencies. The main challenge involved merging exceptional brand storytelling with a robust commercial infrastructure. We developed a system capable of real-time inventory management across multiple warehouses, localized shipping methods, multi-currency payment options, and a personalized loyalty scheme called "Weta Dollars," featuring tiered rewards, bonuses, and specific purchase conditions. The front-end design was deliberately straightforward and cinematic, showcasing the artisanal nature of Weta’s collectibles, while the backend operated on a completely customized commerce engine. This represents the pinnacle of connected commerce, combining global reach, brand consistency, and technical sophistication within a single platform.

Kaiser Permanente: My Baby and Me App

Kaiser Permanente

Metajive collaborated with Kaiser Permanente to create a digital ecosystem that supports mothers and expectant mothers from pre-conception to their baby's first birthday. This platform includes a responsive website and a native iOS app, both of which feature real-time data synchronization across devices. Due to the sensitivity of patient health information and the diversity of Kaiser's patient population, all components were designed to be fully compliant with HIPAA for data security and ADA for accessibility. Over the course of 18 months, our team developed 240 wireframes and 6 prototypes, continuously iterating to meet the needs of a diverse user base with clarity, empathy, and precision. This project showcases Metajive's commitment to rigorous enterprise healthcare UX, navigating complex compliance requirements while delivering a meaningful impact—empowering mothers with information for healthier babies.
