PING collaborated with us to create a microsite centered around its brand to enhance its standing in the new PLD line of putters. Background: In 1959, former General Electric engineer Karsten Solheim began crafting golf putters in his garage, which eventually led to the establishment of PING, a golf equipment manufacturing company still run by the Solheim family. In 2020, PING teamed up with MentorMate to launch a microsite showcasing a premium line of putters targeted at consumers. The Putting Lab Design (PLD) initiative combines PING's engineering excellence with its extensive history in the industry. Challenge: PING aimed to develop a microsite that would raise awareness of the PLD brand, educate top-tier customers about an exceptional custom fitting experience, and boost sales of PLD products. Insight: As a company with a legacy of putter innovation dating back to the 1950s, PING recognized the importance of reminding golfers of its inspiring heritage and strengthening its position in the putter market. We assisted Canon Medical in developing a mobile application featuring a comprehensive notification system designed to enhance global patient care for healthcare professionals. Overview: Canon Medical combines advanced medical imaging software with scanners and various diagnostic solutions utilized by hospitals and healthcare facilities worldwide. The company utilizes artificial intelligence to identify possible medical events in patients but required a technology partner to create a mobile application with an effective notification system. The mobile app needed to access sensitive patient information while securely and promptly alerting medical teams. Challenge: To fully realize its AI-driven medical imaging health alert capabilities, Canon Medical sought a collaborator to create a mobile notification system for healthcare providers. Insight: Timely intervention is essential for effective patient care. Doctors must receive information immediately once it becomes available. The notification system in this new app must operate quickly while meeting required security standards. Solution: The newly developed native iOS and Android application for Canon Medical provides push notifications when medical issues arise. We assisted Cargill’s Digital Business Studio in enhancing the software infrastructure of its newly launched startup, Chekt, turning it into a scalable and secure enterprise-ready product. **Overview:** Leveraging Cargill’s extensive industry expertise, Chekt offers a smart modular food locker solution aimed at automating the controlled handoff for takeout and delivery order pickups. This product features advanced locker pods along with a flexible, enterprise-grade software platform that boasts extensive integration capabilities, creating an innovative customer experience for quick-service restaurants. **Challenge:** The goal was to secure and scale the infrastructure of the Chekt product, currently in its pilot phase, to address reliability issues and prepare it for large-scale production. **Insight:** The architecture of Chekt needed to be designed for 99% uptime and capable of managing peak loads to meet various use cases and user demands. **Solution:** Following a thorough evaluation of Chekt’s architecture, we shifted its monolithic API to a microservices approach, transforming it into a secure and scalable solution ready for enterprise use.
