Website

MyNatur

Welcome to MyNature, a landing page built with Next.js aimed at making climate action more accessible and impactful. Our unique platform enables users to monitor, decrease, and offset the carbon emissions resulting from their consumption. Come along with us as we strive towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly future. The website utilizes Next.js for efficient server-side rendering, enhancing SEO performance. Content is managed via Contentful for tailored page customization, while Strapi serves as the backend to modify sections and overall design, including blog management.

Dashboard

MyNatur

This project was developed to make it easier for users to contribute to environmental foundations. Users create an account and undergo an onboarding process where they answer questions about their home size, travel habits, fuel usage, dietary choices, pet ownership, and shopping patterns. These answers help calculate the user's carbon footprint, allowing them to determine an appropriate donation amount. The dashboard was built with React and used Ant Design UI components to match the Figma design guidelines, with some components requiring custom modifications for design accuracy. State management was handled through the React Context API. For user authentication, AWS Cognito was utilized, and the backend was hosted on AWS, using GraphQL for API connections. Payment processing and bank account transaction data retrieval were managed through Plaid and Stripe, which improved the carbon footprint calculation process.
