Beyond Finance was operating on an outdated platform that relied heavily on Salesforce. As their internal team advanced in their project, they recognized the need for external assistance to meet their objectives. The Tandem team was enlisted to establish robust internal processes that would support the team's long-term success. From the outset, we offered both technical and consulting support, allowing them to concentrate on developing a strong, internal, full-time development team. Being a forward-thinking company, Beyond Finance aimed to enhance their agile practices and team dynamics as an investment in their future success. At the time Tandem joined, Beyond Finance was using a microservice architecture that faced numerous challenges. We aided in integrating their systems with New Relic, which enhanced organizational visibility and post-release tracking. Other initiatives led by Tandem included creating APIs and workflows to streamline manual tasks, implementing a flexible rules engine, refactoring backend processes, and maintaining API endpoints for Salesforce, web, and mobile platforms. Improving Farm Performance With Big Data

There is no universal solution for farming, which is why Tandem’s team developed a web application that enables farmers to make informed decisions based on real-time data from their heavy machinery. This allows farmers to track and assess crop conditions, enhancing their yields and profits through informed decision-making. Climate Corporation is an AgTech company that provides both field-based and tractor-integrated technologies to assist farmers in optimizing their planting strategies, irrigation, chemical applications, and seed selection. They utilize telemetry data from farm machinery, real-time soil condition monitoring, and localized climate data to generate valuable insights. Tandem collaborated with Climate to create and implement an IoT sensor data pipeline and a mobile application platform. This collection of real-time tools empowers farmers with data and insights no matter where they are, whether in the field or at the office. Currently, the FieldView system oversees over 40 million acres of farmland and has aided more than 15,000 farmers in enhancing their annual results—reducing costs while boosting yields. Making Loyalty Rewarding

ampliFI Loyalty Solutions offers fully outsourced, tailored loyalty programs for credit and debit cards, specifically targeting banks and credit unions across the country. While ampliFI's clients appreciated their personalized reward portals, the engineering team had to construct each one manually, which hindered scalability. Tandem stepped in to develop a solution that enabled ampliFI’s clients to manage their portal branding independently. Our software engineers worked closely with the ampliFI development team on API design for over 30 endpoints and implemented guidelines that provided clients with maximum flexibility while maintaining accessibility. For instance, we incorporated color fall-backs with alerts for problematic color combinations. Now, ampliFI's rewards portal fulfills the needs of both their clients and end users. Most importantly, by focusing on whitelabel functionality during the design process, ampliFI no longer needs to manually create instances for new clients or branding updates.
