Located in Kyiv, the MAA Narcological Clinic specializes in treating alcoholism and drug addiction through a comprehensive, multi-stage approach. They have developed their own educational system featuring various schools and courses, including chemical dependency, social work, art therapy, video editing, and photography. The clinic offers free support groups and family therapy sessions for patients' relatives, alongside nationwide seminars and lectures, and uniquely hosts therapeutic camps. Their psychosocial rehabilitation includes medical detoxification to alleviate withdrawal symptoms, followed by intensive psychological care addressing stress and apathy in sobriety. Social adaptation support helps patients adjust to everyday life, overcoming challenges of a previously euphoric lifestyle. This holistic model also positively impacts families, fostering healthier, more stable environments free from addiction-related turmoil.
