Revolutionising UK Construction

Collida

Willmott Dixon aimed to transform UK construction by uniting top talents from their Group to blend future technologies with years of know-how. Our Discovery phase commenced with workshops that led to the conclusion that the platform should have a distinct name and visual identity while being recognized as ‘A Willmott Dixon Company’. We initiated two strategic workstreams simultaneously: one focused on creating a strong brand platform, while the other aimed at crafting a new name. The desired name would effectively encapsulate the core concept of unity, representing a hub where advanced technology meets extensive experience, contemporary materials align with reliable supply chain partners, and skill merges with talent to produce innovative outcomes. The name “Collida” was inspired by particle accelerators, which collide protons at light speed to form new matter. The logo and overall visual identity drew influence from the circular form of particle accelerators, optical lenses, Venn diagrams, and the kinetic energy of a coiled spring. Liven was also assigned the task of executing initial activation projects across various launch materials, including stationery, a PowerPoint presentation, social media banners, and print templates. Additionally, we were responsible for developing a new website. Phase 1 focused on creating an easily navigable site to encourage exploration, while Phase 2 will enhance it with more content and features. Engineered for growth. Precisely.

EVM

EVM is the leading manufacturer and converter of multi-person vehicles in Europe. They produce a wide range of options, from high-end luxury transport to durable and comfortable minibuses for public services, safe school vehicles, and groundbreaking accessible transport solutions. With a decade of growth under their belt, EVM has earned a reputation among dealers and customers for their quality, reliability, and innovative engineering. To align their brand with the excellence of their products and customer service, EVM enlisted Liven Creative. Our discovery phase involved an extensive review of their existing materials, a competitor analysis, visits to their factories, and discussions with the management team. This research provided the insights needed to create a comprehensive brand platform and positioning. After defining the strategy, we began developing a new visual identity and tone of voice to enhance the brand’s core principles. We crafted a central narrative and articulated EVM's brand values while creating a vocabulary that allows them to express their key strengths without redundancy. The new logo signifies precision, featuring custom typography that ensures the three letters in the wordmark align perfectly. The logo evokes smooth movement, reminiscent of reflections seen in a minibus window. Additionally, the symbol is integrated into the overall visual identity, serving as a frame for photos and inspiring the ‘precision frame’ graphic element. We provided comprehensive guidelines and a digital toolkit to equip EVM with everything needed for a successful brand launch, including vehicle branding, office stationery, presentations, and promotional materials. The power of data redefined

Mi Project Solutions

Mi Project Solutions offers a variety of digital services designed for companies in the built environment. Liven Creative was engaged to deeply understand this innovative organization and make a meaningful impact. We conducted workshops centered on each solution, identifying different target audience segments, defining essential messaging, and clarifying the service offerings. From there, we established the foundational elements of the brand, including its vision, values, positioning, and proposition statement. A new tagline, “Digital Assurance,” effectively encapsulates the brand’s core philosophy and service offerings: providing the built environment industry with project and social assurance made possible by advanced data and cutting-edge digital technology. The distinctive logo elegantly merges two key components—data symbolized by bar charts and the initials M & I. The custom wordmark features modern typography that reflects the company’s leadership in its sector. Unique patterns inspired by data transfer, abstract, isometric architectural illustrations, a comprehensive set of custom icons, and a distinct image cropping style all contribute to a cohesive visual language that ensures recognizable consistency across all platforms. Building lasting relationships is vital to the success of Mi Project Solutions, as it is for many B2B organizations. To aid in this effort, a range of branded merchandise was created for trade show giveaways, incentives, and meeting follow-ups. Comprehensive brand guidelines provide Mi Project Solutions with all the necessary information to implement their new brand strategy and visual identity. Liven Creative continues to offer ongoing support and brand stewardship. If you have a project in mind, please call us at 01483 331250 or email us at hello@livencreative.co.uk to get started.
