Friends of Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site

Friends of Philipse Manor Hall (FPMH)

The Friends of Philipse Manor Hall (FPMH) was established in 1996 as a nonprofit organization with the goal of supporting the restoration and improvement of the Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site, while increasing public awareness of its cultural and historical importance. To boost its online presence, FPMH sought out a marketing and communications agency that specializes in nonprofit organizations to oversee a complete rebranding and website overhaul. This project included the implementation of a new technology infrastructure that comprised web hosting, content management, membership and donor management, fundraising, and marketing automation tools. FPMH collaborated with LIMIT8 for the rebranding and website redesign, which improved user experience and integrated tools for membership, event ticketing, donations, and fundraising. Since the launch in November 2024, site visits have increased by 75%, and memberships are up by 18%.

The Peace Studio

The Peace Studio empowers artists and journalists by providing them with resources and tools grounded in their strengths to inspire hope, confront injustice, and bridge societal divides. Established in 2016 by Dr. Maya Soetoro-Ng, a peace scholar and author based in Hawaii, alongside Todd Shuster and Jennifer Gates from Aevitas Creative Management, The Peace Studio officially merged with Images and Voices of Hope (ivoh) in November 2019. ivoh is a nonprofit that originated in 1999 when around 180 media professionals convened in New York City to explore the media's societal impact. The 2019 merger allowed both organizations to unify their missions, focusing on empowering cultural creators (artists and journalists) as leaders in peacebuilding, and to promote narratives centered on hope and potential instead of just highlighting issues. The Peace Studio partnered with LIMIT8 to redesign their website and merge the previously separate entities—The Peace Studio and ivoh—under the TPS brand, while consolidating the extensive content from both sites into a single, user-friendly experience. By working closely with The Peace Studio's leadership, LIMIT8 successfully executed the website redesign, developing an integrated brand and content strategy along with a streamlined information architecture for easy access to ivoh's extensive resource library. This effort resulted in a consistent digital experience across various platforms and devices. LIMIT8 is dedicated to continuing its collaboration with the TPS team for ongoing website management and content enhancements.

Townspeople

Since 1984, Townspeople, a nonprofit organization based in San Diego, has been a reliable support system for individuals facing homelessness and dealing with HIV/AIDS or other health challenges. Their goal is to eliminate homelessness and create a brighter future. LIMIT8 partnered with Townspeople's executive team to revamp their outdated and cumbersome website into a more accessible and user-friendly digital platform that assists San Diegans in need with finding resources and applying for emergency housing. We began by performing a thorough brand and content inventory and audit, followed by developing a content strategy to guide the website's redesign.
