Zettist: Putting the Pizzazz back in the brand.
Jana Devan, the founder of Zettist, faced challenges with her brand, describing it as an "identity crisis." She invested considerable time refining Zettist's offerings, future direction, and target audience, yet felt the brand did not reflect these insights. She sought a visual identity that represented her vision of establishing a comprehensive marketing agency—something purposeful, sophisticated, distinctive, and engaging, able to endure trends and maintain relevance.
To address this, we began with an extensive discovery phase focused on achieving brand alignment and authenticity, prior to any discussions about logos, colors, or typography. Through this process, we identified valuable elements from Zettist's history that needed to be preserved while clarifying the overarching message and visual identity. Additionally, we aimed to develop a highly adaptable brand system that works effectively in the present while allowing for future growth into a larger agency. The brand needed to embody sophistication and subtlety, yet remain fun and expressive, balancing contemporary appeal with timelessness.
As a result, the Zettist brand has regained its focus and direction, supported by detailed guidelines that are easy for the team to implement. The visuals are vibrant, versatile, and enduring, aligning seamlessly with Zettist's messaging. We created a toolkit that enables the brand to either take a subdued approach, allowing the content to shine, or adopt a more dynamic and expressive look. Since the rebranding, Zettist has seen an increase in brand recognition and positive feedback, along with improved lead generation and conversion rates. Most importantly, the brand now embodies clarity, confidence, and a strong foundation for advancing the business and realizing its marketing aspirations.
