Malcolm Soh, a University of Westminster graduate, spent a decade honing his skills as an Art Director across leading advertising agencies like JWT, Ogilvy, Y&R, and CD Advertising. Despite a successful advertising career, his true passion lay in film. This passion inspired a transition into film production, beginning as a producer with Straight Films in Malaysia. Malcolm's journey then led him to Vietnam, where his affection for the country grew over six years. During this time, he collaborated with prominent production companies such as Star Films, Shooting Gallery, and Fatman Films. Embracing entrepreneurial spirit, he eventually founded Filmbase Asia, marking a significant milestone in his film production career.
