Tech Lead/Frontend Dev recruitment for Dealstack

Dealstack Ltd.

Dealstack Ltd, a rapidly expanding start-up based in London, sought to fill the role of Tech Leader/Frontend Developer to become a long-term partner in their business. The company's goal is to develop software that streamlines the management of private capital deal flows from start to finish, blending project management, legal technology, and financial technology. They were in search of a Tech Leader/Frontend Developer who would not only join their team but also evolve into a key partner responsible for establishing a developer team in their Polish office and overseeing the company's product by innovating and executing new ideas. The recruitment challenge stemmed from the specific qualifications Dealstack required: they needed a seasoned Senior Frontend Developer with a solid grasp of Backend and DevOps concepts, exceptional management abilities, and a proactive mindset. Additionally, familiarity with the Polish Civil Code, knowledge of the Polish IT landscape, fluent English proficiency, and openness to travel were necessary. After thoughtful deliberation, Dealstack opted to outsource the recruitment to Kingit, a specialist in the field. The process was conducted by two highly experienced recruiters. Within two weeks, they proposed six qualified candidates, leading to two rounds of internal interviews. Following some adjustments recommended by Kingit, three more candidates were presented, one of whom proved to be a perfect fit for the position and was subsequently hired. This candidate quickly demonstrated his compatibility with Dealstack’s needs, setting up the company’s Polish branch after a month and assuming the role of Head of Software Engineering. The successful collaboration has continued ever since.

Senior Android Engineer recruitment process

Best Chefs Catering Company LLC

Case Study for Best Chefs Catering Company LLC (The Chefz): Recruitment of a Senior Android Engineer. Best Chefs Catering Company LLC (The Chefz) is a prominent Saudi Arabian firm that offers a delivery app for food and goods, enabling users to order from numerous stores and restaurants. The company sought a Senior Android Engineer to join its team, aiming for the individual to become a vital team member involved in decision-making, leading platform development, and mentoring other staff. The Chefz also plans to establish a new branch in Eastern and Central Europe, particularly in Poland. To assist with this, they reached out to an IT recruitment expert in Poland, KINGIT. Following a brief discussion about the company’s objectives and needs, The Chefz chose to engage KINGIT for the recruitment process. The challenge during recruitment did not stem from finding the right candidate—who was offered the position within two weeks—but from legal complications related to the contractual discrepancies between the Saudi Arabian company and the Polish candidate. KINGIT responded to the initial issues by proposing a new contract. However, as further complications arose, the candidate ultimately decided he couldn't sign a contract with a non-EU legal entity due to legal constraints. In response, KINGIT devised an alternative solution by acting as an intermediary, using body leasing to resolve the matter. They established a body-leasing agreement with The Chefz and a standard B2B contract with the candidate. This arrangement satisfied all parties, allowing the candidate to begin working with The Chefz, and the successful collaboration is ongoing.

Building a Development Team for Infogen Labs

Infogen Labs Inc

The recruitment process for Infogen Labs Inc. involved establishing a complete Development Team for their European sector as part of a case study. Infogen Labs is a fast-growing IT consulting firm that utilizes cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to provide valuable solutions. With decades of experience in managing offshore software development projects, they have successfully delivered various critical software systems to clients in the US, UK, Canada, and Korea. The company aimed to assemble a Development Team primarily based in Poland, requiring three .NET Developers, one Full-Stack Developer, and one DevOps Engineer. The challenge was compounded by a strict timeline and a significant number of positions to fill. Infogen Labs needed to recruit five staff members within three months, factoring in the notice periods of the new hires. Consequently, the recruitment process had to be completed within 1-2 months. To address this challenge, Infogen Labs recognized their limited expertise in IT recruitment and insufficient knowledge of the Polish market, leading them to outsource the recruitment to KINGIT, a specialist in IT recruitment. After an initial discussion to clarify the details of the roles, KINGIT began the search. Given the urgent time constraints, they assigned two of their most experienced recruiters to the task. In the first month, Infogen Labs successfully hired three candidates through KINGIT, followed by the selection of two additional candidates in the subsequent month. All hired candidates continue to be employed at Infogen Labs today.
