Scentarium - Aromatherapy Platform
Challenge: The client approached us with the concept of developing a web application that would function as a detailed knowledge base, leveraging years of expertise in aromatherapy. Although the main idea was established, many specifics required clarification through business analysis and prototyping. Solution: Keenethics assisted in refining the client's product concept through thorough business analysis, created an in-depth design proposal using Figma, assembled a development team, and implemented the project on the no-code platform Bubble. Result: We successfully launched the first version of the application on schedule, equipped with all essential features, aimed at assisting both newcomers and seasoned users in their aromatherapy exploration. The client received a user-friendly app that allows users to access extensive information about essential oils and ingredients, read research-backed articles, browse and create recipes, and connect with a growing community through comments and shared insights. Key Deliverables: A bilingual database (EN/DE) featuring hundreds of essential oils, hydrosols, carrier oils, and thoughtfully curated recipes, all reinforced by research and expert knowledge. Over 400 educational articles organized for beginners and advanced users. Advanced search and filtering capabilities powered by Algolia, enabling users to filter by chemical compounds, allergens, scent families, therapeutic benefits, safety information, and more. A community feature that allows users to share content, comment, create recipes, and report inaccurate information, promoting quality and engagement. A comprehensive subscription and payment system accommodating multiple currencies, trial periods, and changes in plans. A versatile admin panel that allows the client to update content, manage users, and maintain platform quality. Impact: Scentarium launched with an extensive content library and quickly attracted thousands of users, demonstrating a strong demand for a reliable and structured resource in aromatherapy.
