St Martins Care

St Martins Care offers support and care to elderly individuals with complex health requirements. Operating several care homes in the area, they prioritize understanding residents as unique individuals and providing a setting with top-quality facilities and activities. JUMP was commissioned to create and develop a website that embodies this high level of personalized care, helping St Martins Care stand out from other local homes. The site was designed to build trust among residents and their families, while also appealing to people seeking careers in care. Like all JUMP websites, the St Martins Care platform was specifically designed to serve two primary purposes: showcasing care home availability and promoting career opportunities. The goal was to differentiate these two areas while maintaining a cohesive feel. This was achieved by using a consistent layout but applying distinct color schemes for each section. For potential clients, the website offers downloadable brochures and highlights various facilities available at the care homes. Additionally, it provides a reliable job search portal where interested candidates can upload their CVs and apply for multiple roles. JUMP introduced new typography and expanded the color palette with warm autumnal hues, giving St Martins Care a modern, refreshed look. Subtle illustrations and personal photography brought warmth to the design, while clear headings and colored panels created a tailored site that aligns with the brand and adapts to varying content needs. Messaging focused on conveying St Martins Care’s community-oriented approach. To reinforce this, testimonials and review widgets were included to highlight genuine experiences, and updated photos of staff and locations helped visitors become familiar with St Martins Care before they arrive, enhancing trust and comfort.

NHS HowFit - Small steps to feeling good

NHS

Backed by the NHS, HowFit is a home wellbeing and fitness campaign that encourages people to take small steps toward feeling better. Its website and leaflet provide simple exercises that anyone can do at home during lockdown. Emphasizing that any amount of exercise is beneficial, HowFit supports individuals at every stage of their fitness journey. To strengthen the brand’s identity and convey its message in a distinctive way, JUMP developed illustrations designed to motivate the audience to get moving. These characters were also animated to clearly demonstrate the exercises, ensuring the content performs well across all devices, including smaller mobile screens. This approach makes exercising accessible, aligning with HowFit’s core goal: promoting physical activity for everyone, regardless of the level, as it benefits both physical and mental health. It’s never too late to start, and you can begin today! Like all JUMP websites, the HowFit platform was custom-built to meet the specific needs of the NHS and users. It features 40 exercises, animations, videos, plus information and tips on healthy living. Throughout, the user experience was designed with people in mind to offer a simple yet enjoyable experience suitable for all ages.

Living North Magazine - North East and Yorkshire

Living North

Living North is the leading independent magazine publisher and event management company in the North, specializing in home and gardens, food and drink, lifestyle and fashion, and local activities. They produce the top lifestyle magazines for the North East and Yorkshire regions, along with monthly supplements. JUMP was hired to create a new website for Living North to complement and enhance their print publications, rather than replace them. The project focused on improving content presentation and user experience while delivering a sleek, modern, and easy-to-navigate design. As with all their projects, JUMP built a custom website from the ground up. Since Living North is a magazine publisher, accommodating extensive content was essential. To provide the best user experience, the JUMP development team prioritized optimizing the image-rich design by using next-generation media formats, keeping the site fast and high-performing. This approach ensured quick loading times and sustained user engagement. Additionally, a fast, intuitive site search feature was added to facilitate smooth navigation and ongoing interaction between users and the content.
