How we assisted CorTexter in scaling their AI solution for recruiters CorTexter is a dynamic and ambitious company that develops software designed to help recruiters create more effective job advertisements. Their tool not only accelerates the writing process but also makes job ads more inclusive by providing smart suggestions, text analysis, and optimization, all with the aim of ensuring equal opportunities for every applicant. The challenge: a great product in an unsuitable context When CorTexter launched in 2021, their core product fulfilled its promises, but they quickly discovered that recruiters were reluctant to switch platforms. They preferred to operate directly within their existing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). In response, CorTexter strategically decided to evolve their standalone tool into an integrated solution that seamlessly fits within the ATS systems that recruiters are already using. To achieve this, they required technical support, which is where we came into play. Our approach: rebuilding for scalability We began with a brief, targeted audit of their current software and found that the architecture and codebase were not prepared for scaling. Instead of making superficial fixes, we opted to rebuild the entire system from scratch, focusing on flexibility and long-term growth. Throughout this process, we addressed several challenges, such as: - Incorporating custom features (like word suggestions) into a third-party text editor - Integrating external AI APIs smoothly and reliably - Connecting with multiple ATS platforms, each with unique quirks and requirements To expedite the process, we made use of established tools where appropriate, including Trumbowyg for the editor, Clerk for user management, Stripe for payments, and custom AI models for text rewriting. The outcome: more than just code The result? A robust, production-ready platform that is already operational and continuously expanding. More significantly, we have fostered a strong partnership grounded in trust, transparency, and a shared, pragmatic approach.

How we assisted Atelier Souffriau in transforming waste into strategic insights Atelier Souffriau is a traditional butchery operating within several Delhaize stores across Belgium. They contacted us seeking assistance in creating an order portal and were looking for a strategic partner to help define the appropriate features and functionalities. They wanted a collaborator who could provide both software development and guidance on their challenges. The challenge: asking the right questions From the outset, it became evident that Atelier Souffriau required more than just a technical solution; they needed strategic insights as well. Our methodical approach allowed for thorough research and extensive discussions. During workshops, we uncovered an unexpected issue: the primary challenge was not the ordering process itself, but rather the lack of visibility regarding food waste across the stores. As a result, we decided to redirect our focus from order management to waste monitoring. Our approach: investigate, pivot, and build We temporarily set aside the original plan for the order portal and initiated new research into waste tracking. This led to the creation of a tool that meticulously records which products are discarded and at which store. Subsequently, we enhanced the app with additional features, such as location-specific production advice, transforming it from merely a monitoring tool into a source of valuable insights that enables Atelier Souffriau to make more informed daily decisions and reduce waste. The outcome: genuine value beyond software Pausing the initial project turned out to be the right decision. The new solution provided substantial strategic value and allowed the client to concentrate on what truly mattered. Throughout the process, we maintained close collaboration with the client at every stage, with each phase supported by the appropriate experts, ensuring seamless transitions and eliminating knowledge gaps. This continuity was essential for building trust and achieving positive results.

Mercurius: powering B2B sales at Billiet

Billiet

Mercurius: A B2B Sales Application Designed for On-the-Go Use Billiet, a prominent wholesaler in home, hospitality, and gift items, operates in the Benelux region, France, and Germany. With a catalog of over 25,000 products, they depend on a team of sales representatives and a spacious showroom to meet customer needs. To enable their reps to access product information anytime and anywhere, Billiet introduced Mercurius, a mobile application that allows for the creation and submission of quotes and orders while providing live updates on products and inventory. The Challenge: Merging Mobility with Complexity Sales representatives are often traveling for client meetings or attending trade events, making reliable internet access uncertain. Consequently, an entirely online solution was impractical. It was also essential to have real-time stock and pricing information to facilitate effective sales. The previous system relied heavily on paper-based orders, which were inefficient and susceptible to mistakes. Billiet approached us to develop a strong offline-capable app that would serve as a digital extension of their sales team. Our Approach: Quick, Intelligent, and Fully Integrated The primary challenge was to create a high-performance tablet app that could efficiently manage a large dataset (including products, prices, and customer-specific regulations) locally without performance issues.
