Despite this, potential customers still desired to thoroughly examine product attributes and aesthetics, as well as consult with sales staff, which was not feasible without visiting physical stores. Showroom To address this demand, a virtual showroom was developed, allowing customers to navigate through product displays, thoroughly examine their design, access detailed information about product specifications, and consult with a virtual assistant as needed. The module employing machine learning algorithms forecasts future sales trends, both growth and decline, for specific product groups. **Business Case:** The store's product assortment holds specific values for various categories and subcategories. A sales prediction for each subcategory over a 3-month timeframe was necessary. **Initial Information, Solution & Functionality:** A dataset comprising time series sales data for the product subcategories was generated from the original dataset. Multiple forecasting techniques were explored for modeling, including ARIMA, ARCH, and recurrent neural networks. At every stage, the symmetric mean absolute percentage error (SMAPE) was calculated based on model predictions against actual sales data from the past 3 months. Ultimately, an additive regression model was selected for this task. Demand seasonality for each subgroup of products was also identified. Additional methodologies included recurrent neural networks, ARIMA, ARCH, and other time series models.

By monitoring product arrangements on shelves, the system can assess the accuracy of assortments based on the type of items and the percentage of shelf space occupied compared to competitors. Additionally, this system can be utilized to automate ordering through integration with a warehouse. Solution & Functionality: Recognition accuracy is at 97%, with a recognition speed of approximately 2 minutes.
