Wrekin Products is a prominent supplier of specialized goods for the civil engineering sector. Seeking a complete rebranding and a modern identity, Wrekin approached us to revamp their outdated branding in order to enhance their competitive edge. We began by interviewing essential stakeholders and clients to understand their perceptions of the business. Coupled with additional research on competitors and the broader market, these insights guided us in crafting a position that was encapsulated in a company tagline, mission statement, vision statement, brand values, and customer personas. Our creative team then delved into selecting colors, shapes, and typefaces that would embody the company’s values and reflect its newly recognized traits of innovation, expertise, excellence, and authenticity. Building on this foundation, our team developed a new suite of logos, including the main company logo, range logos, and specific product logos for items within each range. Additionally, we designed 3D Castings logos for instances where the logo is embedded into their metal products. We carefully considered the interplay between these logos to ensure brand consistency. Once finalized, the updated brand identity was implemented across both digital and traditional platforms, along with a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to regulate its future use. When the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) set out to launch their new events business, they required a distinctive branding strategy to enable users to recognize their offerings. The new brand was to function independently from the CII, necessitating a unique identity that could also serve as an effective marketing tool for the event organizing team. Collaborating closely with CII, our design team began by pinpointing essential design components, such as the brand name, style, and supplementary materials. The chosen brand name was required to be modern, memorable, and connected to the educational aspect of the events. Our creative team generated a list of potential names and ultimately selected 'Versed Events.' Following this decision, we designed the logo, incorporating vibrant purples and blues to establish a contemporary yet professional color palette. Combined with sleek typography and key visual elements, the branding evolved into a style that was distinctive, unique, and identifiable as an events-driven business. Shortly thereafter, we created a range of promotional materials, equipping ‘Versed’ with brand guidelines, email signatures, and other supporting assets to ensure consistency over time. With the launch of the aptly named Versed Events, the events team now possesses a strong foundation for their new venture. Their engaging strapline, 'talk, listen, learn,' paired with vibrant and professional design elements, effectively communicates their mission, signifying that the brand encompasses much more than just a logo. Rebranding Linnaeus Group

Linnaeus Group, a part of MARS Petcare, consists of over 140 esteemed veterinary practices throughout the UK. As their network of individual practices continued to grow, each maintaining its unique brand identity, Linnaeus sought our help to refresh their branding with a comprehensive package that included new visuals, messaging, and guidelines. Our objective was to update their brand to instill credibility and unity across the group while allowing each practice to preserve its individuality. Given Linnaeus’s focus on acquiring new practices and referral centers, as well as attracting top veterinary professionals, it was crucial that their rebranding established them as an industry leader. Our team collaborated with Linnaeus to develop a more vibrant, confident identity that enhanced the brand’s visibility. By incorporating brighter colors and distinct design elements, we crafted an identity that reinforced Linnaeus’s stature. We then created a logo and messaging that would serve as a visual foundation for the UK practices. To maintain a consistent tone of voice, we developed new messaging that struck a balance between welcoming and professional, which would be applied to all visual elements, including a new Boilerplate, brand messages, and strapline. With the creative design and language completed, we updated the brand guidelines to ensure uniformity across all marketing materials. Additionally, we applied the new style to various internal resources, providing Linnaeus with a useful portfolio for all practices. The result was a recognizable logo, refreshed visual language, and well-branded internal resources that connect all 140 practices, supplemented by a clear set of brand guidelines for any new clinics joining the expanding Linnaeus group.
