Drive Efficiencies In D2C E-Commerce Platform

Unknown

When WineDirect began a multi-year transition from its monolithic architecture to a microservices setup, they enlisted ITX to manage the ColdFusion legacy system that supports their extensive ecommerce operations. Our diverse team quickly demonstrated its extensive ColdFusion expertise and advanced DevOps approach. ITX achieved significant reductions in platform maintenance costs while supporting WineDirect’s expanding direct-to-consumer client base; this positively affected both their ROI and brand reputation in a noticeable way. Our proficiency with ColdFusion technology led to a 700% increase in the resolution of service tickets and an 83% decrease in the time taken to resolve them. Additionally, we assisted WineDirect in attaining PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Level 1 compliance, which is the highest standard for handling credit card information. Our DevOps engineers stabilized their monolithic architecture and automated the application’s monitoring system, enabling administrators to address issues before they affected users.

Rapid User Adoption and A Competitive Advantage

Unknown

In today’s global economy, there is a need for agile solutions that cater to an increasingly distributed workforce. This prompted our longstanding client partner to request that ITX develop a robust, user-friendly mobile app, complete with an Apple Watch integration. The aim was to enable users to accurately log their time, irrespective of location or internet connectivity. Leveraging the mobile app and its wearable extension, ITX's skilled native development team enhanced our client's standing in a fiercely competitive market. The ITX time tracking mobile app, along with its fully functional Apple Watch integration, provides significant business advantages, allowing users to quickly document essential daily activities while enabling employers to more accurately predict resource allocation. Post-launch data reveals impressive growth, with new user registrations rising by 576% and daily activity metrics increasing by 118%, indicating successful market penetration and engagement. The swift delivery of a production-ready Apple Watch extension further strengthened the client’s competitive edge in the time-tracking sector.

Deliver PCI Compliance and Protect Client Revenue

Unknown

Elsevier/SSRN approached ITX for assistance in ensuring their compliance with PCI standards. Dedicated to enhancing quality, our testing team conducted a thorough evaluation of the client's security setup. We identified several potential vulnerabilities, including a significant high-risk threat directly affecting client revenue. ITX prioritized these risks to expedite their resolution, thus enhancing SSRN’s application security and safeguarding client revenues. Additionally, ITX took the initiative to integrate a detailed threat assessment into the required PCI compliance test, thereby increasing client trust in their system's security and in ITX as a reliable partner. We uncovered multiple potential threats, including a critical vulnerability, and prioritized addressing them to bolster SSRN’s security and protect essential revenue.
