AKF Blended Learning Initiative | Diversity@Work
The Aga Khan Foundation Portugal, the Estonian Human Rights Center, and Equality Strategies from Ireland, along with partners from seven other European nations (Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Croatia, and Spain), have initiated a pilot project. This initiative aims to gather, create, and test a variety of tools to encourage the implementation of Diversity and Inclusion among European employers. It includes an online course for employers, known as the Blended Learning Initiative, which features illustrative animations on various subjects. The Diversity@Work project emerged from a collective vision to support and advance the EU Diversity Charter initiative, which advocates for diversity, non-discrimination, and equal opportunities in the workplace. AKF Portugal tasked us with designing comprehensive graphic environments, resulting in the creation of approximately 65 unique characters. These characters illustrate the project’s objectives by highlighting the plurality and diversity that define each individual. Additionally, we developed around 15 different scenarios and over 100 objects to further distinguish each character’s identity and the context they inhabit. This project embodies true diversity and enlightenment.
