Taxfinder represents the advancement of the well-established Tarifa en Línea, which served users for over 20 years by providing online access to essential information for importing and exporting products to Mexico. The platform boasts daily updated data and a historical record spanning from 1996 to the present. Our role involved collaborating with Griver's development team and their experts in customs regulations to transfer all system data to MongoDB, aiming to enhance performance and speed for Taxfinder users. We created all communication APIs, including tailored responses to support legacy systems that relied on a SOAP web service, integrating them into their central authentication system. A web client designed using Next.js interfaces with the Taxfinder API, offering both expert and inductive modes and supporting three languages: Spanish, English, and Mandarin. The information is processed through a Django-based system that efficiently manages large data volumes and applies relevant business rules before being uploaded to Development, QA, and Production databases, where we utilize the Blue/Green deployment model to ensure constant availability of information. We leveraged AWS services for this development. The most significant challenge we encountered was managing the vast amount of data concerning customs, including regulations, laws, and tax calculations. This endeavor would not have been feasible without the extensive expertise of the Griver team. Additionally, we worked on other projects within the same suite, such as Taxcalculator, employing a similar technology stack.

MyInsurance by Ever, developed by Ever Insurance, is a comprehensive and dependable mobile app that provides immediate access to medical insurance quotes, in-depth health benefits, and options to contact support via phone or email. It was created to ensure convenience and streamline the process of obtaining health insurance quotes for Ever’s clients and users. In the development phase, we produced a non-functional prototype that allowed the client to evaluate the app, provide feedback, and suggest design and interaction modifications. We then moved on to the development stage, typically starting with the Android version and subsequently creating the iOS version. As part of our commitment to ensuring successful app launches in their respective stores, we assisted our client in setting up their Android and iOS developer accounts. When it came time to publish the apps, we also helped by recommending store descriptions and product images, ensuring a smooth process for our client to have their apps available in both major app stores with minimal effort.
