Web development for GTIN
GTIN.cloud | UPC product data
GTIN.cloud Service focuses on web application development based in Chicago, USA. The main technologies utilized include .NET Core 6, MS SQL, Vue.js, CSS, HTML, Docker, and CQRS. The GTIN Management project aims to create an application using .NET Core to manage purchases, administration, and related client information for GS1 Service and Support Products. Each GS1 Service product functions similarly to a subscription service but does not automatically renew. This application will replace existing processes, including eCommerce checkout (via WooCommerce), Order Management (using PipeDrive), and GTIN Data management (currently managed through XLS via email, DataHub, and DropBox). It will also incorporate Authorize.net and PayPal for transaction processing and connect with an existing web service (CBWS) for creating EPS files.
The data portal aspect of the project will offer both clients and JCDEV admin users an overview of the complete lifecycle of a product and its associated GTIN data elements. Additionally, the portal will facilitate communication between clients and the Customer Service Representative (CSR), a specific JCDEV user who oversees an account. GTIN.cloud serves as the online platform where manufacturers can upload and manage their UPC product data and images. The GTIN management feature allows companies to assign and activate their GS1 GTINs, associate product data attributes, upload images, and generate digital .eps barcode files. All UPC product data submitted is thoroughly validated by a designated GS1 barcode consultant before publication. Furthermore, UPC product data can be exported to various resources, including GS1 Data Hub, Amazon, and Google Merchant Center.
