Utility Apps & Platforms

Unknown

This 3-in-1 product is designed to modernize the green coffee industry. The Farmer App, which allows for the collection of field data both online and offline, is available on the Play Store. It features a user-friendly dashboard for cooperatives to track production volumes, locations, deliveries, and more. Additionally, it serves as a network platform for coffee trading, complete with professional interfaces for executing transactions. All functionalities are enhanced with QR code scanning for traceability. Developed for a global non-profit organization based in the Netherlands, which supports small coffee and cocoa producers worldwide, we assisted in professionalizing their products and establishing blockchain networks and applications to facilitate new business services. Previously, trading between producing organizations and international buyers was often coordinated by analysts, field staff, or sales coordinators through various channels, including email, SMS, and phone calls. As more member organizations worldwide gained internet and smartphone access, a digital solution to connect all parts of the supply chain became essential. Given the global distribution of participants, any proposed solution had to prioritize data privacy, trust, and immutability. For this platform, we utilized React technology, along with custom-built open-source components, ensuring secure interfaces for all data exchanges and compatibility with other systems. To guarantee data immutability, we implemented cutting-edge blockchain technology, specifically Hyperledger 1.4 and other frameworks, making the entire software stack both future-proof and adaptable to evolving requirements.

Supply Chain Traceability on Blockchain

Unknown

We have created a private permissioned network for food traceability using the Hyperledger blockchain. A consortium in the Netherlands, consisting of leading food supply chain producers, processors, validators, and retailers, can now track their complete supply chains for specific products in real-time. The collaboration among partners, along with the immutable records ensured by the blockchain, fosters trust in information sharing. Additionally, the platform allows consumers to access product and production-related details through an interactive timeline on the retailer's website.

Trade & Commodities Finance Application

Unknown

For Trade and Commodity Finance teams at leading banks and financial institutions, global frameworks were provided to enable fully automated processing of receivables discounting, collateral and limit management, risk management, payment processing, and syndicated lending. Additionally, programs were established for pricing, consolidating, and reporting on exchange-traded commodities. These frameworks and programs enhanced the speed of trade execution, improved the efficiency of trade maintenance and processing, and decreased the daily workload for staff, thereby facilitating higher business volumes.
