Office Depot needed a user-friendly, fully integrated system for placing and tracking orders that would serve both B2B and B2C customers. They required a responsive software solution that could incorporate new features within weeks, not years. To address this, Intelifaz suggested a web-based application that would: offer a unified user interface for all products, ensure a smooth user experience on the Office Depot website, provide functionality that accommodates the varying expertise of consumers, store staff, and contract clients regarding Copy & Print, create a modern, engaging visual web solution compatible with older browsers, integrate seamlessly with Office Depot’s existing technology, allow for monitoring of user behavior through data collection, SEO, and analytics, and facilitate a direct workflow from the web to manufacturing involving stores, Office Depot manufacturing plants, and third-party providers. Intelifaz collaborated with Office Depot and their internal development and product teams to completely redesign the Copy and Print customer experience. They developed an intuitive, visually-oriented configurator that was seamlessly integrated into the Office Depot website. Testing showed that users could configure complex bound documents four times faster than before. This innovative approach combined visually appealing and interactive customer experiences with legacy enterprise technology in a streamlined cloud to manufacturing process. By working closely with Office Depot's development teams, they established a system for continuous improvement that included bi-weekly software updates to adapt to market changes. This initiative positioned Office Depot as a digital frontrunner in Print-on-Demand, allowing them to take charge of customer experience and data while quickly responding to market demands. As a result, conversion rates increased significantly, along with the number of customers visiting stores to pick up online orders.
