We have entrusted content management to a team of five employees who are well-versed in SSAB's operations and are experts in Sitecore and content management. The company aims to create and manage a cohesive e-commerce platform that shares innovative ideas across five markets (Italy, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia), assesses and organizes them, and establishes a unified development plan for all regions. To meet our partner's needs, we deployed the Sitecore solution in all countries, featuring a unified interface, a single code repository, and code development tailored for each nation. Our collaboration included all project phases: - **Engagement and Discovery**: Analyzing the client's business operations, technology, challenges, and goals, along with an overall project scope definition and RAID analysis. - **Solution Design**: Evaluating requirements, creating an implementation concept, project organization, UX strategy and design, graphic design, logical and physical architecture, data modeling, and migration strategies. - **Implementation**: Full execution of the proposed solution, including Sitecore frontend and backend development, a custom e-commerce platform, integration with various ticketing systems, functional and security testing, as well as documentation, manuals, and training. - **Support and Maintenance**: Providing dedicated support and development teams for bug fixes, technical maintenance, content management, web analytics, conversion optimization, performance monitoring, and reporting with a service level agreement. - **Customer Value Management**: Enhancing customer experience through a 360-degree view that includes analytics, business intelligence, customer segmentation, and a robust data strategy for better insights. EsportsLAB – advanced technology on the way to esports success.

EsportsLAB aids esports teams and individual players in understanding the factors that influence their performance levels in games. The system integrates data from various sources, including in-game behavior observations, data from wearable devices, and tests on mental and physical health as well as cognitive abilities. This data is aggregated and prepared for processing, allowing for the extraction of data sets suitable for both manual analysis and machine learning algorithms. With the aggregated and visualized data, players and coaches can analyze what may have affected game outcomes. At the project's outset, we collaborated with the EsportsLAB team through workshops to grasp their concepts and ideas. We undertook the collection, organization, and analysis of requirements, pinpointed key performers and processes, defined external systems, and designed the preliminary logical architecture. We developed an implementation concept for the project, including a plan for creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and established a project roadmap. Recognizing the scale and volume of data involved, as well as the necessity for a system capable of integrating new data sources and scaling at multiple levels, we designed a big data environment using our Core IG system complemented by Azure Cloud services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Cosmos DB. We opted for a microservices architecture, dividing the application into independent services to facilitate effective performance management in light of anticipated project growth. The application is orchestrated using Azure Kubernetes. Another key aspect of the technical concept was determining the data scope and the methods for communicating with external systems that provide insights into players and games (e.g., HLTV, RIOT). Lastly, we developed a model for data acquisition and storage, ensuring optimal data utilization by all machine learning and artificial intelligence mechanisms.
