About the Team

OUR STORY

Indelible is a strategy-first web agency with thirteen years of experience helping small businesses and mission-driven organizations establish effective online presences. Founded in 2013 by Mike Dion, the agency emphasizes thorough research and strategic planning before design and development, ensuring that websites serve real business goals. Early challenges, including project management setbacks and client bankruptcy, shaped Indelible's approach to prioritizing thoughtful strategy and enduring client relationships. The team commits to building technically sound, accessible, and secure websites tailored to clients' unique needs, often creating custom solutions when necessary. Guided by the founder's background in data tools and a focus on purposeful design, Indelible fosters long-term partnerships by providing honest communication and attentive support, striving to deliver meaningful digital experiences that truly matter.

Portfolio

Wild Beauty Foundation

While working on Disney's "Black Beauty," director Ashley Avis became aware of the critical challenges faced by wild horses in the U.S. Motivated to make a change, she founded the Wild Beauty Foundation, an outstanding charity focused on rescuing these horses from slaughter pipelines. The foundation accomplishes this important mission by facilitating rescues and leveraging her celebrity connections to promote awareness. New Leaf Creative produced an engaging mock-up that nicely complemented Ashley Avis' cinematography, providing the Indelible team with a strong base to address the technical elements of the project. Web development was essential, involving several custom features that required special consideration. For example, we created a script to automatically gather metadata from articles for the "in the press" section, streamlining the posting process. We also integrated various schema types to enhance SEO and carefully optimized all open graph data to boost sharing potential. By combining our web development, SEO, and digital strategy skills, we assisted the Wild Beauty Foundation in establishing a compelling online presence. Our technical expertise facilitated efficient content management, improved search engine visibility, and optimized social media sharing, ensuring their message reaches a wider audience and aids the vital cause of rescuing and safeguarding wild horses.

Gallery at the VAULT

To navigate a difficult holiday season characterized by low foot traffic and a lack of tourism, we developed a competitive e-commerce website for the Gallery at the VAULT. Our main goal was to effectively connect with a younger, newer audience. Together with New Leaf Creative, we crafted an engaging design tailored to this target demographic. Meanwhile, the Indelible team led the development by incorporating several key features: integrating the Eventbrite API for automatic event imports, which maintained visual appeal and user experience. We also created a comprehensive system for easy management and showcasing of over 100 affiliated artists, boosting their visibility and promoting their work. Additionally, we built a strong e-commerce platform with an automated schema to create rich snippets for Google search results, enhancing search engine optimization (SEO) and increasing click-through rates. By combining our strengths in graphic design, web development, and SEO, we enabled the Gallery at the VAULT to maintain customer outreach and achieve a competitive advantage. The result was an attractive e-commerce site that effectively reached the new audience while allowing for smooth event integration, artist promotion, and online transactions.

Crown Point Builders

Crown Point Builders, a prominent figure in high-end residential construction in Southern Vermont, aimed to enhance their online visibility and marketing initiatives. To achieve this, we adopted a comprehensive strategy, making content marketing a key component of their digital approach. In partnership with New Leaf Creative, we delivered noteworthy outcomes: we launched targeted PPC campaigns with tailored landing pages that doubled their annual lead generation goals. Our expertise in content marketing resulted in engaging messaging and the development of a robust campaign featuring videos, blogs, and case studies, leading to a 1400% increase in organic monthly traffic. We also revamped the website to showcase the latest projects and improve user experience. By optimizing various content marketing elements, we successfully lowered the bounce rate by 30%. Additionally, we effectively managed their social media channels through content marketing, resulting in a 425% growth in their Facebook following. Our strategic emphasis on content marketing significantly benefited Crown Point Builders, enhancing their digital strategy, creating compelling content, and effectively distributing it to increase visibility, lead generation, and audience interaction.
