EVM Gas Cost Estimator

Unknown

The objective of this research project was to develop a technique for estimating the gas costs associated with EVM/Ewasm OPCODEs. We contended that it is practical to measure the execution time of each OPCODE, which provides a valuable opportunity to investigate the variations in computational costs among different OPCODEs as well as various EVM/Ewasm implementations. Detailed reports are available for Stage 2 at https://github.com/imapp-pl/gas-cost-estimator/blob/master/docs/gas-cost-estimator.md and Stage 1 at https://github.com/imapp-pl/gas-cost-estimator/blob/master/docs/report_stage_i.md.
