Founded in 2002 by Michael Wyeth from the University of Cape Town's Medical School graphics unit, Imago Visual began as the primary provider of photographic, video, illustration, and design services for academic and pharmaceutical research. In 2003, Tarquin Wyeth joined as co-director, expanding offerings into digital media, innovative printing, and new media software, positioning the agency at the forefront of UCT's shift from analogue to digital teaching. Evolving into a boutique creative agency, Imago Visual broadened its client base, producing fine art projects, large format prints, and digital media, while fostering citywide creative collaborations. Relocating to Observatory in 2011 and transitioning to remote work by 2023, Michael and Tarquin combine artistic sensibility with technical expertise, offering tailored analogue, digital, or
