OUR STORY
Far & Away was founded by childhood friends Ben Consmueller and Ilia Lipsman, who embarked on a transformative journey that inspired their creative vision. Drawn by the emerging travel photography scene on Instagram, they left university, traveled to Europe, and found their inspiration in the people and stories they encountered rather than the landscapes. This experience sparked their mission to craft narratives that highlight shared human experiences. Starting as Ilienfero Productions, their award-winning work includes the film "Always Felt," recognized at the Cannes Lions Young Director Award shortlist. Now known as Far & Away, based in Halifax, the company remains committed to evolving its craft and collaborating creatively to deliver genuine, compelling stories.
