They aimed to move away from conventional marketing techniques in order to inspire travelers and motivate them during their travel-planning process. Approach: Collaborating with their long-term partner Ideas Collide and Movable Ink, Best Western incorporated dynamic content into their email campaigns, reflecting real-time availability and updating as offers expired. The approach centered around a one-week campaign comprising an announcement email to kick off the promotion and a subsequent reminder email. Solution: The highlight of the campaign was the inclusion of Movable Ink's digital scratch-off technology, which allowed recipients to digitally "scratch off" their emails to uncover bonus point offers of either 3,000 or 5,000 points per stay. This innovative feature transformed regular emails into engaging experiences that resonated with members' desire for exploration and rewards. Ideas Collide enhanced the content strategy with captivating visuals and succinct messaging, while also ensuring mobile optimization for a smooth user experience across all devices. Ideas Collide was engaged to create a brand identity from the ground up to enhance Harvest Pillar's visibility in the agriculture sector. The final logo features three uppercase H's arranged to resemble rows of trellises, visually representing the brand's name, principles, and offerings.
