**ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY Website Backend Overhaul** **Challenge:** The Marketing Director at SpotSee reached out to us expressing her dissatisfaction with the company's recently revamped marketing site. The project had exceeded the original timeline by six months, and while she appreciated the design, the website was nearly non-functional and static. Even minor content updates risked breaking the pages, largely due to excessive custom coding that restricted efficient edits to only the original developers. It was essential for the client to not only rebuild the backend for greater flexibility and ease of updates as the company expanded, but also to partner with a dependable and transparent web agency. **Solution:** Collaborating closely with the marketing team, we undertook a complete functional overhaul using WordPress and the highly adaptable Divi Theme framework, ensuring the front-end design remained unchanged. This backend reconstruction preserved the approved design while enhancing the website's resilience and flexibility for edits. We leveraged Divi’s wide array of built-in customization tools and incorporated clear, well-commented, and semantic CSS as needed to align with the website’s design and layout, significantly improving the backend functionality. Upon project completion, the client was empowered to make urgent changes independently. We continue to enjoy collaborating with the Marketing team through a monthly website Care Plan, allowing them to focus on other priorities while we handle the majority of content modifications, additions, and updates for their adaptable and functional site. NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR, BUSINESS COACHING, AND LEADERSHIP Website Redesign Challenge: Dr. John Townsend, a prominent business and leadership coach as well as a New York Times best-selling author, sought the assistance of Hooked On Code to completely revamp DrTownsend.com. Both Dr. Townsend and his team felt that the website’s design was outdated, recognizing that a modern look was essential for their ongoing growth and success. Solution: We carefully explored the vision for the redesign, determining that the process required a phased approach. The initial phase involved reconstructing the site to enhance its visual appeal and improve user experience and information organization. This stage also included creating an extensive, filterable coaching and consulting directory, a press kit, and various resource pages. In the subsequent phase, we collaborated closely with the client to transfer their proprietary assessment tool to a user-friendly third-party system, ensuring long-term functionality. Lastly, we developed a members-only resource site for the Affiliates of the Townsend Leadership Program, replacing an overly complicated Dropbox file system that was being phased out. Our team has been thrilled to witness all the components come together, resulting in a tangible return on investment for the client.

A few years later, Align Capital Partners sought a redesign to better reflect their growth. **Solution:** Our team at Hooked On Code worked closely with the firm's team members and partners to create a website that embodied their brand evolution, highlighted recent investments, and incorporated authentic photography of their workspace and expanded team. We aimed for a modern and open layout while ensuring the website would be easy for the client to update and manage.
