**Overview**
Our UX/UI team, which includes experts in art direction, collaborated closely with the client to create a platform that is both intuitive and visually engaging, aligning with the campaign's core message. The art direction was vital in defining the platform's visual style, influencing the overall visual communication of the project. For the campaign, we developed a concise, impactful, and thought-provoking title that draws on media terminology and highlights the plight of journalists silenced for years regarding the sexual violence they either experienced or witnessed. The title "Off the Record" was readily accepted by the client and became the central theme for the report. We utilized Webflow for the website's development, allowing us to construct a responsive, user-friendly platform without coding that easily adjusts to various devices and screen sizes. Our team conducted testing to ensure that the platform met the highest standards for functionality, performance, and user experience. The website was created using Webflow, with additional JavaScript and CSS employed for specific animations, all completed within a short period. Beyond the visual design, we established a content management system (CMS) for the dynamic management of content on the homepage, dedicated interview subpages, and profiles of individuals involved in the campaign. The site was designed with a strong focus on responsiveness, ensuring an attractive and seamless experience on mobile devices. To enhance user engagement with the content, create the right atmosphere, and deliver dramatic effects for the report and interviews, we incorporated subtle yet effective animations that enhance the mood and guide users through the different sections of the website. For the animations and interactions, we leveraged the platform’s built-in features, occasionally augmenting them with custom JavaScript and CSS code.
