Plume

Plume, a startup based in Silicon Valley, is developing advanced WiFi solutions for homes, businesses, and ISPs. As they began to expand internationally, they enlisted our help to enhance their online presence for improved e-commerce activities. **Shopify Migration:** We transitioned Plume's e-commerce platform to Shopify to leverage its capabilities for international payment processing. **International Localization:** We implemented a new translation management system that significantly minimized the data entry required to create region-specific pages. **Shop UX:** To boost conversion rates, we conducted user testing and redesigned Plume’s shopping experience to better inform customers about their subscription model for WiFi. **Flexible Theming / Design System:** We developed a set of reusable content blocks that can be easily adapted to the site’s various themes and consolidated all of Plume's styles, templates, and components into a cohesive design system. This approach greatly lowered design and development costs for creating new pages and content. **Results:** Since the start of the project, Plume has seen a 350% increase in conversion rates.

Two-Sided Marketplace for Petcare Providers

Kinship

We collaborated with Kinship to develop GoodFriend, a dual-sided marketplace where pet owners can locate nearby pet care providers, check their real-time availability, and make appointments. We built the platform from scratch, encompassing everything from user experience and visual design to the backend architecture that supports its essential features: - Location-Based Search, enabling pet owners to discover local pet care providers and see their locations on a map. - Customizable Business Pages, where providers can showcase details such as services offered, pricing, and customer testimonials. - A Booking System that lets users view providers' real-time availability, choose specific services, and schedule appointments. - Provider-Side Tools that include a flexible scheduling system and intake forms, assisting pet care professionals in managing appointments and resolving scheduling conflicts. - A Unified Authentication System, allowing both customers and providers to access all of Kinship's products with a single account. - The GoodFriend Pro Website, which offers exclusive support services, tutorials, blogs, live events, and other material to enhance provider engagement. Web Design & Development for Pet Insurance Rebrand

Figo

Figo provides adaptable and dependable pet insurance tailored for contemporary pet owners. As part of a branding initiative, we revamped their website to better represent their refreshed brand identity, enhance accessibility, and boost conversion rates. Our objective at UX Figo was to craft a more welcoming and interactive user experience. We strategized and tested multiple versions of the site's user journey, streamlining its layout and reorganizing all content to smoothly lead users towards obtaining a quote. In terms of visual design, we chose a bright palette of turquoise and yellow. The varied, informal layout, complemented by playful illustrations, imparts a relaxed, homely atmosphere. Design System After establishing the overarching design theme, we compiled elements such as colors, fonts, and icons into a unified guide, ensuring consistent application of reusable components and styles when new content is created. Modular Templates Instead of designing each page individually, we produced customizable 'blocks' that can be rearranged to form new sections of the site. This modular strategy enables the client to effortlessly create and update content. Claim Calculator The personalized claim calculator on the site enables users to simulate real pet health scenarios, helping them understand how Figo can assist with veterinary reimbursement. The step-by-step guide clarifies Figo's offerings, framing benefits, claims, and reimbursement explanations around the specific needs of users. Accessibility As an insurance provider, Figo is required to adhere to the highest standards of inclusivity for individuals with visual, auditory, and other disabilities. Throughout every stage of design and development, our team utilized auditing tools to ensure that all aspects, from navigation to typography, comply with web content accessibility guidelines. Results Following the redesign, website traffic increased by over 40%, and the site has achieved a perfect Google accessibility score of 100/100.
