About the Team
OUR STORY
Glucode's journey began in the early 2000s by addressing operational challenges in a family-run citrus export business, replacing manual processes with a web-based platform to streamline logistics and documentation. Emphasizing software that simplifies complex operations, the company embraced mobile technology following Apple's iPhone SDK release in 2008, creating one of South Africa's first apps and later developing the award-winning Discovery HealthID iPad application. Today, Glucode delivers robust software solutions across various industries including health, finance, and cybersecurity. With over 17 years of experience, a perfect delivery record, and strong repeat partnerships, Glucode's ethos centers on curiosity, disciplined engineering, and collaborative partnerships, ensuring software systems are designed with intent and built to perform reliably over time.
