The Challenge The World Trade Center Rotterdam features six floors of office space totaling 51,500 m2, available for businesses and creative organizations to lease. It is crafted to offer tenants complete living spaces along with all the essential tools for running a successful enterprise. Consequently, it is evident that the level of client service is exceptional. After exploring various options, they chose to implement a digital signage solution. Future Forward, with decades of expertise in this area, was approached to create the perfect solution. The Process Over the past twenty years, visual communication through signage has transformed from static paper displays to touchscreen kiosks and interactive wayfinding applications. Our objective was to devise and execute a solution that is not only functional and user-friendly, but also aesthetically pleasing. After careful consideration, we settled on a sleek, modern design with colors that harmonize with the building's architecture. The Result Utilizing our own digital signage platform, Castit, we designed an intuitive touchscreen application for World Trade Center that shows local public transportation departure times. We developed a unique Digital Signage app using web technologies and implemented an innovative, interactive method to enhance existing informative content. In our fast-paced environment, obtaining information quickly is essential. The solution we engineered enhanced user experience and satisfaction, with 87% of users successfully finding the information they needed within a few swipes, enabling them to arrive on time.
