Cycle inventory counting application for P&G

Procter & Gamble (Hyginett Kft.)

Before reaching out to us, P&G relied on printed spreadsheets to manage over 7,000 fixed assets at their Gyöngyös facility. Asset managers would download the asset list from SAP, carry out the inventory, and then re-upload all the data to SAP. By working closely with their fixed assets team, we created a mobile app that significantly reduced the inventory process time by 67%, condensing it into a single year. 🔥 Key Issues and Solutions Integrating with Third-Party Software PROBLEM: P&G was already using several software systems, such as SAP and Microsoft Azure, and we needed to ensure smooth integration with this setup. SOLUTION: We had previous experience with Microsoft Azure, so we collaborated with P&G’s IT department to establish the connection. For SAP, we reviewed the official API documentation and consulted with the P&G team to automate the process effectively. Accurate Asset Location Tracking PROBLEM: We needed to identify the exact location of each asset. While GPS is effective for larger areas, it lacks precision in smaller spaces. SOLUTION: Initially, we launched the app with GPS-only location tracking, which surprisingly achieved 90% accuracy for object location. For tighter areas, we incorporated beacon technology. The app was designed to read locations from small IoT devices, or beacons, installed in the appropriate rooms, allowing us to attain 100% accuracy.

nJoy custom ERP and Product Lifecycle Management

nJoy (DAI-TECH Srl)

DAI-TECH was established in 2010 with the shared goal of offering innovative and superior solutions compared to existing market offerings. Operating under the nJoy brand, they focus on creating consumer-friendly IT products intended for retail sale. Currently, nJoy has a presence in 10 countries across Central Europe and the Balkans. They engaged us to develop a customized ERP system, named The Hive, specifically designed to meet their unique requirements. 🔥 Addressing nJoy's Key Business Challenges We collaborated closely with nJoy's management, IT, and design teams to comprehend their workflows and translate that business logic into an intuitive and scalable system. This system serves as a collaboration hub connecting nJoy with its suppliers, service centers, and distributors. **Product Management Issues** **PROBLEM** Before The Hive was implemented, nJoy depended on various software and spreadsheets for product management, a process that was both time-consuming and prone to errors. **SOLUTION** We developed a customized product lifecycle management tool that enables nJoy to oversee crucial stages in their products’ lifespan, from development to manufacturing and logistics. Features like automatic control points, approval processes, and comprehensive visibility into progress and responsibilities simplify product status tracking. **Challenges in Supplier Communication** **PROBLEM** Before The Hive was rolled out, nJoy communicated with suppliers primarily through email and tools like Skype, which created data silos and resulted in the loss of valuable information and feedback. **SOLUTION** We resolved this issue by integrating supplier communications within the software. This allows suppliers to collaborate actively, access information, and provide comments on products. With everything organized in a single platform, no information is ever lost!

Online cross-donation registry for OVSZ

OVSZ

Prior to the creation of this application for OVSZ, donation centers were required to send lab results to the central database in paper form. While OVSZ archived these results, it did not offer a standardized method for accessing them, leaving donation centers unaware if a donor had been flagged as ineligible by another center. **Key Issues and Resolutions** **Problem:** There was no standardized method for accessing donor information, making it impossible for donation centers to verify if a donor had previously been deemed ineligible. **Solution:** Collaborating with OVSZ's database architects, we developed a contract outlining the process for transmitting and processing information. We implemented a data transport method that automatically forwards donor information to the central database whenever a donation center uploads lab results to the application. **Problem:** The submission of lab results was cumbersome and unreliable, as donation centers had to send results on paper, which were then manually compiled. This process was labor-intensive and susceptible to errors due to human involvement. **Solution:** By establishing a standardized protocol for submissions, we were able to ensure that donor information is automatically updated whenever a donation center finalizes lab results.
