We developed the following technologies: a set of tools and a pipeline for importing forklift CAD models into Unity. We also rigged these Unity forklift CAD models with precise joints, motors, weights, friction models, collision detection, and control systems. We integrated various sensors featuring noise models, including a RealSense D435 RGBD camera, LIDAR, IMU, and contact sensors. Additionally, we simulated a Forklift Control API, ensuring that the control systems' code is almost identical for both simulation and real-life applications. We conducted accurate photogrammetry scanning of the warehouse and its items, such as pallets and pallet loads, along with detailed physical attributes of warehouse items, including weight, weight distribution, friction, and highly accurate collision models.

Synthetic Data Generation for Machine Learning

Fortune 500 Company

Our client recognized the potential of machine learning and required customized, high-fidelity virtual scenes to create essential datasets for their algorithms. FS Studio transformed unusable pre-existing virtual assets into a comprehensive dataset library that the client could employ, yielding valuable, data-rich insights. **Challenge** The client possessed a collection of pre-existing virtual assets they wanted to utilize for crafting tailored datasets for machine learning algorithms. However, these assets were either defective or required significant modifications to function effectively within their virtual setting. Without these adjustments, the client would be unable to meet their objectives. **Solution** FS Studio collaborated closely with the client, taking their purchased virtual asset library and refining it into functional virtual components. This allowed the client to incorporate avatars and high-fidelity 3D models of their hardware into the scenes. FS Studio meticulously dismantled the pre-existing files using Houdini and reassembled them, utilizing Python scripts to enhance functionality. This detailed process highlighted the exceptional talent of our art team. **Outcome** Thanks to FS Studio's efforts, the client gained improved control and flexibility over their virtual scene library, enabling them to effectively implement it for their datasets. This led to the successful utilization of machine learning, providing them with a robust dataset to train their algorithms.

App Development for Android Wear

Unknown

FS Studio collaborated with Android Wear to introduce a unique method for ultrasonic sensors. They engaged the team to assist with low-level firmware and Android stack development by incorporating custom firmware, supporting an abstraction layer, providing system and application services, and ultimately developing an application. FS Studio successfully created a custom game, following the game design document (GDD) through to art and development, delivering it punctually and as intended.
