Master Keying Application

ASSA ABLOY

ASSA ABLOY, the largest lock manufacturer globally with brands like Yale and Sargeant, generates over $9 billion in annual revenue. Following various acquisitions, they found themselves with a range of different master key software solutions. To cut costs and improve the ordering process, they decided to merge the EMEA-based software systems into a single platform. Given the intricate nature of master keying software and its security ramifications, creating a solution that caters to multiple brands necessitated a thorough understanding of both enterprise and local requirements. To gain insights into user needs, we conducted 15 on-site interviews across 5 European countries and an additional 40 phone interviews in 12 other countries. Over three years, we developed a software system that harmonized design, ordering, and manufacturing demands while accommodating localization.

B2B Ecommerce

Millipore Sigma

Millipore Sigma offers premier laboratory materials, technologies, and services for scientists and engineers. Their E-commerce Platform, which generates $2 billion in annual revenue, had become outdated. Our client sought a new design that reflected contemporary e-commerce trends. After a prior attempt by a major agency fell short, Millipore Sigma approached us for assistance. We promptly evaluated the situation and devised a strategic plan for the project. Through a usability assessment and competitive analysis, we gained insights into the current platform's status and applied our extensive usability expertise to enhance the user experience. We established a design system and provided training to the internal UX team, enabling them to continue building additional features.

Nurse Credentialling Portal

NNAS

NNAS is a non-profit organization that offers a standardized process for credentialing internationally educated nurses to work in Canada. The leadership recognized that their credentialing portal was ineffective for users. To address this, they conducted research to gain insights into the credentialing process from the users' perspective. Drawing from findings from a heuristic usability evaluation, 12 interviews, and contributions from the business team, we developed a new vision of the nurse experience, illustrated through a stylized user journey narrative. This narrative depicts the experience of a new applicant nurse within the proposed framework. The journeys were utilized to present a revised business vision to the board of directors.
