Client Overview: Established in 2018, REACH Influencers is the first micro-influencing platform that offers a web-based application to connect businesses of all sizes with social media influencers, allowing for affordable and low-risk marketing through brand ambassadorships. The Challenge: Initially, the web application was developed by a different vendor, but REACH faced issues with missed deadlines and inadequate maintenance support. Consequently, they turned to FocustApps for a comprehensive assessment of their website to evaluate several key aspects. Our Solution: FocustApps transitioned the platform from DigitalOcean to AWS, optimizing cloud resources and facilitating future scalability. Enhancements to the database architecture included standardizing table naming conventions, ensuring proper token generation and session expiration, and cleaning up console logs and errors across various pages to improve security and performance. Additionally, users can now register using their Google and Facebook accounts, making the initial login process faster. The number of bugs and code issues was significantly reduced after re-evaluating the platform. FocustApps successfully decreased Time to Interaction by 25% on desktop and 20% on mobile.
