Consolidating Product Information As large organizations expand and adopt new strategies, their data and applications frequently become disjointed and dispersed across various logical and physical locations. This fragmentation can result in conflicting and duplicated data, causing confusion for users and potentially leading to revenue loss for the organization. Vodafone’s Sales and Marketing Teams were facing challenges in gathering product and pricing information that was scattered across multiple applications. A clear need arose to streamline and centralize all sales and marketing data into a single system. Flowmoco, which was already a software development and hosting service provider for Vodafone, was enlisted to assist with this initiative. The resulting application was named 'Vodafone Catapult.' Outcomes Flowmoco successfully launched all three applications for Vodafone's internal employees and its VPA and ISP partners. We currently provide hosting and maintenance services for these applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. By opting for a single CMS portal for all three Catapult applications, we simplified data management and uploading processes, resulting in reduced overall project and hosting costs. The Technology Flowmoco developed the Catapult application utilizing a combination of Django HTML templates and Vue.js for front-end interactivity. We implemented a security policy for Vodafone that featured technologies like ‘one-time links’, Microsoft’s ‘single sign-on’ (SSO), ‘Whitelist’ validation, and the Django-sesame package for token management. On the back end, we built a Django framework supported by a Wagtail Content Management System (CMS). Lastly, we ensured that all new sales and marketing campaigns across the various Catapult sites were fully integrated, leveraging Instiller services, which provided us with a robust API for development.

**A Coastal Safety Platform** The My Coast platform was created to address a significant issue: how to safely enjoy the breathtaking Cornish coastline and explore its beautiful beaches with your family. **The Challenge** To incorporate all the necessary features for the My Coast platform, Flowmoco needed to integrate daily data from various sources including the RNLI, The MET Office, Marine Coastguard, South-West Water, and the Universities of Plymouth and Exeter. This task was complicated by the absence of APIs (interfaces), as data was only available through daily PDF files. Additionally, the project faced other obstacles, such as a tight development schedule of 6-8 weeks and a constrained budget. **The Technology** Flowmoco's Technical Architects and Developers initiated the project by setting up a Wagtail CMS in the cloud, which connected to a PostgreSQL database. This allowed My Coast staff to create and manage beach-related information effectively. To process the daily PDF files from South-West Water, RNLI, and The Met Office and extract relevant data, an AWS 'Textract' tool was used. The Django framework facilitated data processing, enabling accessibility for the mobile app through a GraphQL interface. Navigation and distance data were obtained from Google, while mapping information came from Ordnance Survey using APIs. For backend services, we integrated Firebase for analytics and push notifications to the My Coast app. We also utilized Hasura to efficiently create an authenticated GraphQL API layer that connects to the PostgreSQL database and aggregates data from various sources. We Are Invictus

Initiated by the Invictus Games Foundation, HRH The Duke of Sussex witnessed the transformative impact of sports on those facing physical and mental challenges during the Warrior Games in the USA in 2013. Inspired by this experience, he helped establish the Invictus Games. The first-ever Invictus Games took place from September 10-14, 2014, at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, featuring over 400 athletes from 13 countries competing in nine sports across five venues over four days. Building on the success of this event, the Invictus Games Foundation (IGF) aimed to develop a social media support network to connect not only game participants but also military and former military personnel worldwide. This platform would offer relevant news and event updates while facilitating direct communication among members. To assist with this endeavor, the IGF reached out to Flowmoco to create a mobile app compatible with Android and iPhone, available via Google Play and The App Store.
