Zimpler aimed to improve their system by introducing a self-care administration dashboard. This dashboard provides users with the ability to manage their preferences, oversee transactions, and set notifications. The main challenge was to integrate the dashboard smoothly into the intricate payment platform and align it with the existing build and deployment workflow. To optimize the development and deployment process, they implemented continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using AWS services. The Self-care dashboard comprised two key components: an API for service communication and a user interface. An authentication service was already in place for other areas of the platform, facilitating a seamless user experience. Flexiana adhered to the Twelve-factor app methodology, a recognized best practice for developing software-as-a-service applications.
