Dynamic Identity for the Future of Work Mentessa is transforming the distributed workplace environment with its groundbreaking learning-by-connecting platform. However, as the company grew, they recognized that their visual identity didn't reflect the same level of innovation and quality as their offerings. Consequently, we partnered with the Mentessa team to develop a new visual identity that accurately embodies their values, mission, and unique vision for the Future of Work. We based the new identity concept on the idea that informal learning can take many forms and is essential for any successful organization. Mentessa sought to harness the power of informal learning to build a stronger sense of identity and purpose, ultimately enhancing performance and promoting employee engagement. The visual language features a series of flat shapes inspired by the letter "M," symbolizing the dynamic nature of informal interactions in the workplace. To portray the idea that a growing organization is a constantly evolving ecosystem, we added another layer of simple, moving 3D shapes. The vibrant yet welcoming color palette, genuine imagery of people, and a custom wordmark with approachable edges all contributed to a strong and unified brand identity. Mentessa's dynamic "M" emblem and multi-layered visual language have effectively captured the essence of their brand, highlighting their dedication to creating a connected environment where employees can learn and develop, regardless of their location. This new identity is a vital component of Mentessa's mission to empower distributed workplaces across the globe. With their innovative learning-by-connecting platform and bold presence, Mentessa is at the forefront of shaping the Future of Work.

Capnamic Ventures

Since 2012, Capnamic has been investing in startups, offering them dedicated support and access to exceptional networks. Nearly a decade later, while the essence remains the same, there have been significant developments — their team has expanded, funding for new investments has increased, and their portfolio of startups has grown rapidly. Capnamic enlisted us to develop their brand narrative and establish a new identity system. Through collaborative workshops, we delved into Capnamic's organizational story and together crafted a bold new identity that reflects their growth and maturity, while also emphasizing approachability and excitement for the future. The brand name merges the words “capital” and “dynamic,” and the wordmark symbolizes the growth potential of startups backed by Capnamic. We designed a visual language that embodies the excitement of shaping the future and highlights the remarkable individuals who will be the game-changers of tomorrow. Authentic photographs with minimalist, either blurred or clean backgrounds, combined with vibrant colors, gradient patterns, and shapes create a distinct, sleek look. Abstract photography serves to project us into the future with its innovative forms, illustrating how technology influences each individual in today's world.
